Favorite Pet - an Exploration in Mediums with Miriam Hughes,

March 5th (10 AM-3 PM ET) 2022

$135.00

Please read our new safety guidelines below as recommended by the CDC. Thank you for helping us keep everyone safe. Participants must be vaccinated.

Saturday, March 5th (10am-3pm ET) 2022- $135 includes all materials but please feel to bring other materials you would like to try!

Learn how to create the same subject in four different mediums.!

Working from photographs of your pet(s), you will create four distinct and varied pieces of art. One will be a drawing, then watercolor, collage and the final created in a medium of your choice - a combination of the three you have already learned.

Our subject matter (your dog, cat, mouse or bird) will be created in a similar size for each piece so that you can display them together. Allowing our selves to work in several mediums using the same subject matter is an excellent way to push yourself out of boundaries in art you may have set up for yourself.

Be prepared for a fun and energizing workshop as we explore and create!

SAFETY PROCEDURES AND REQUIREMENTS

Due to new CDC recommendations and our concern for everyone’s health and safety, we have new polices in place at this time.

All Participants must be vaccinated.

For the time being, we are resuming the wearing of masks both in the classroom and in the gallery. Please ensure that your mask is well-fitting and comfortable.

Please observe safe distancing at all times when in the classroom, in the gallery, arriving, departing and cleaning up in the sink area.

To ensure we do not exceed the number of people allowed in the classroom, arrive on time (not early) and depart on time when class is over.

Make sure you clean your table after class so things are sanitized for the next person. Cleaning products will be provided.

If you bring a meal to eat during the day, please do so outside on our loading dock (while observing social distancing), or in your car. We have removed our fridge, microwave, and water fountain so we suggest you bring a suitable lunch and your own water bottle. Personal water bottles may be used in the classroom, but must have a straw so that masks will not need to be removed.

DO NOT COME IF YOU ARE ILL, HAVE A FEVER, OR SUSPECT YOU HAVE COVID.
